Deliverables: Cover, Table of Contents, Feature Spread
Methods: Scanography, Found Objects
I was tasked with creating my own magazine title and concept. Analogy magazine is at the intersection of technology and culture– offering critical analysis into the evolution of technology and humans.
Once this identity was established, I created a unified cover, table of contents, and feature spread for the publication. All images had to be either illustrated or shot by me.
I used scanography– a method of photography where a flatbed scanner is used as a camera to capture images of objects. Using old cables, bolts, and computer parts found in my university’s design lab, I was able to create to create an investigative, tactile, and unique identity.
